The Butcher Block

I will have to try out this recipe. Looks good!

Kendall

I make a very similar recipe that my mom made when I lived at home. It is so good! Instead of tortilla chips I cut corn tortillas into strips and fry them in a bit of oil until they are crispy. They taste sooo good in the soup!

PS I missed you!

The Glamorous Housewife

Oh that does look good. I made tortilla soup the other night, and it was delish! So soothing on a cold night.

Thanks doll,

you inspired me to make this for dinner tonight. it was excellent! the only thing i did different was add some garlic in with the onions.

i served it with salad. i added cilantro to the lettuce and topped it with more fresh avocado. yum!
