Last Minute Gift for Dad

You've still got time to whip up this special Photo Bookmark for your dad today!

 

Grab a piece of 2-inch-wide grosgrain ribbon 3 inches longer than twice the height of the book; snip a point at each end to prevent fraying. Sew a 1 1/2-inch-by-2-inch photograph to the ribbon by hand-stitching each corner. I bet he would like one of his grandkids too!  Place inside a new book and give both as the gift.  Voila!

Gift Wrap for Dad

What a clever way to wrap Dad's gift this year! 

 

Recycle his old bow ties use them as present bows.  Bow ties will fit on many small gifts.  I bet you could do this with regular neck ties too.  Especially on a wine bottle.  This would also be great for birthdays.  The tie wrapping could also double as part of the gift!
