These candles from Martha Stewart would make a great centerpiece for Valentine's Day or a wonderful gift. I was actually thinking you could make candles like this for many different occasions. All you need are different shaped punches. How about bunnies for Easter or spiders for Halloween? The wax sheets come in many colors. Have fun!
Tools and Materials Chopsticks Blow-dryer Heart-shaped craft punches in various sizes Sheet wax Pillar candle
Candle How-To: 1. Punch hearts from a sheet of wax using heart-shaped craft punches.
2. While holding a single wax heart with chopsticks, heat the pillar candle and wax heart using a blow-dryer (this will soften the wax heart, causing it to adhere to the candle).
3. Repeat this process until you have attached the desired number of hearts to the candle.
I promise soon I will quit posting about decorative wine bottles! Here is my latest creation. When unlit, the grapes are purple and when lit, they are green. Sort of cool, but would probably look better in a clear bottle. Enjoy!
I had so much fun making these! I didn't cut a whole in the bottom because the cord barely shows coming out of the top. I think they turned out pretty well, what do you think?

For my crafty friends you can find out how to make these here. For my not so crafty friends I think I'm going to put these up on HostessJo.com if you'd like to order one. Or you can email me at joanna@hostessjo.com. I can do pretty much any colors.
For my wine tasting party I've been trying to think of some ways to decorate to go along with the wine theme. I was going to make a couple of those wine bottles with the lights in them then I saw this spin on the traditional style that is even better!

Isn't this so pretty? This one was made for Christmas but the marbles come in all colors. You don't have to worry about the cord and lights showing through. I love how it casts the colors all over. If you'd like to make one yourself, check out this article. Well I'm off to gather my supplies!
Kara has taken her creativity to the next level with her new Christmas ornaments. What a fantastic unique gift these would make! Or a meaningful keepsake for yourself and family. And they are only $10 a piece. You can look at all her Krafts here!
